You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Based on the Comic Strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz

Book, Music and Lyrics by Clark Gesner

Additional Dialogue by Michael Mayer

Additional Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa

Charlie Brown is trying to have a good day. There is a kite to fly, a baseball game to win, and a book report that will not write itself. Around him, Lucy offers advice nobody requested, Linus holds tight to his blanket, Sally works out her own rules, and Snoopy waits for supper. Based on Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts comic strip, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown finds comedy in the small things that can feel enormous when you are growing up. Songs including “The Kite,” “Suppertime,” and “Happiness” bring these everyday adventures together. Good grief! It’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!
