The Junior Lakers program brings together an industry professional and local educators to direct a fully staged youth production. Participants rehearse, collaborate and perform on the TLP stage, gaining confidence, community and unforgettable memories.

Legally Blonde Jr. is a joyful story about self-belief, perseverance, and rewriting the rules people place on you. Following Elle Woods on her unexpected journey from sorority president to law student, the show celebrates curiosity, determination, and the courage it takes to be taken seriously without losing who you are. At its core, Legally Blonde Jr. asks a simple but powerful question, what happens when we stop proving ourselves to others and start believing in ourselves. The answer is bright, bold, and full of possibility. Bright, funny and unapologetically pink!

Timber Lake Playhouse, renowned for its excellence in professional summer stock theatre, invites local youth to audition for featured roles in our Junior Lakers production of Legally Blonde Jr.
In 2026, Timber Lake Playhouse is excited to collaborate with Woodlawn Arts Academy in Sterling to offer hands-on learning with members of our Resident Company Lakers. Half the classes will be conducted at Woodlawn Academy and the other half will be offered on-site at TLP. Students develop new skills through focused sessions that explore acting, dance, voice, and more. Each class gives young artists real experience working alongside professionals.
