Darlene Hope is an NYC-based classically trained actress. She earned her BA in Theatre Arts from the University of South Florida and her MFA in Acting from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. She also studied extensively in London, Paris, and Italy under lauded international artists Corin Redgrave, Sir Donald Sinden, Dame Sian Phillips, Patsy Rodenburg OBE, Maestro Antonio Fava, Sheridan Morley, and Tony Award winner Mark Medoff. Perhaps best known as the title character in A Visit From Aunt Flo, the Cannes Lion Award winning viral video that has received over 2.5 million views worldwide, Miss Hope has toured extensively throughout the US, South America and the Caribbean combining her bright and captivating performances with philanthropy, humanitarian relief, and young artist mentorship. Mariah Ralph is an actor, singer and teaching artist from Jersey City NJ. As an actor, she has performed Off Broadway in NYC and at regional theatres throughout the United States and Internationally. As a teaching artist, she has held residencies in Harlem School of the Arts, Jamaica Center of Arts and Learning, Illuminart, the Underground RailRoad Association and more! She teaches theatre from a place of empathy and incorporates valuable interpersonal skills in her original storytime content for early learners! She is looking forward to exploring the joys of theatre with the young artists at Timber Lake Playhouse!
James Tweedale has an MFA in Acting from Western Illinois University, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Directing from the same institution. James is thrilled to return to Timber Lake Playhouse for his 3rd summer. The last two years James has been a part of the resident company, but this summer he proudly joins TLP’s educational department. James teaches the 3 improv classes and cannot wait time to share the power of “Yes, And” with you. Let’s laugh in lockdown together!
Jared Brodie is based in Atlanta Georgia. He has worked over 8 years as a Teaching Artist for the Puppeteer Center of the Performing Arts. Atlanta credits; Play the Play with Cat the Cat (Alliance), Little Princess, Tom Key and Friends, and Memphis (co-produced with Aurora Beauty and the Beast (Center for Puppetry Arts), Shrek, Jr.(Habima), Shrek (Atlanta Lyric Theatre). Jared would like to take this time to thank God for the blessings, his family and friends for their love and support, and patronage and studiers of art. Rob Wilson is based out of LA, but born and raised in Easton Pennsylvania. Lewis Richards is based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has a passion for teaching dance to young artists. At the age of 8 years old, I sat in. I’ve taught children’s theater at the Grand Rapids KROC Center, in Turkey, the Philippines and Mexico. Ballroom dance experience includes Competitive Ballroom Dance, award winning Show Dance Choreographer, and Three Dance winner and Choreographer. A stong and diverse background in dance/choreography with young artists, coupled with f 20 years of experience, I have worked for multiple gyms as a certified group fitness instructor and certified personal trainer. He’s excited to train the up-coming stars at Timber Lake Playhouse
Anthony Irizarry is based in NYC. He is an avid screenwriter, playwright and a versatile actor known for his darkly brooding and hilarious on-screen presence in the following: Carlos (Red Eyes), Gary Lawson (Crossing Lethe), Terrence (Hurry up and Wait), Dan (The Game), Miles (Schematics), and many others. His combination of talent, range, and ethnically ambiguous type has earned him experience in both theatre and film, distinguishing himself in dramas and dark comedies. Dwayne Brown is a Bronx native currently based in Harlem, NYC. He trained at The Ailey School, The School of American Ballet, and has a B.A. in Psychology from Vassar College. Recent credits include “At Home With Amy Sedaris” (TruTV), Opera Theatre Saint Louis Fire Shut Up In My Bones, Carnegie Hall Songs of The Diaspora, The Kennedy Center Samson and Delilah, and The Metropolitan Opera Macbeth. He is associate choreographer for The Perfect Fit. He is represented by Clear Talent Group and Ramona Pitera. Robert McFletcher-Jones is honored to be the Education Director at Timber Lake Playhouse. He has been teaching Private Voice Lessons for the last 3 years. In 2019 he attended The Vocal Pedagogy Workshop at Boston Conservatory. He has vocally performed professionally in Myriad of Genres, internationally, for the last 8 years. He is excited to work virtually with you.
Ty Bailey has played guitar professionally for over a decade. He performs with the Dubuque symphony Orchestra and the past two years was commissioned to arrange pieces for the Ultimate Rock hits of Dubuque. He is currently the lead guitarist of his band A Few Blind Mice. He’s excited to work with people of all ages and experience levels for Guitar, Ukulele, and bass guitar.
Kendall Joseph – Student Intern – was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. He is a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh where he received a bachelor’s degree in music. While at SUNY-Plattsburgh, he played the roles of Jud Fry in Oklahoma! and Adolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone. In Trinidad, Kendall belongs to the Young Artists Collective of the Picoplat Music Development Foundation. With Picoplat he has performed in operas such as Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus and Franz Lehar’s The Merry Widow. Kendall is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Vocal Performance at Ball State university where he also teaches voice as a graduate assistant.
Josh Keller is a graduate of the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, PA with a B.A. in Church Music. He began his teaching career, tutoring student vocalists and instrumentalists in sight reading and choral training. After graduation he accepted a position at the Grand Rapids First Church as Music Assistant and Director for their innovative music program, consisting of several bands and musicians ranging in age from teen to adult. Josh teaches beginner through advanced piano to youth and adults. Clients cite Josh’s “Professionalism and passion for music” as the number one reason they love their lessons with him.
