We’ve had a successful first weekend at TLP. Our Worldly Delights Celebrity Chef event on May 3 was a huge success. A big THANK YOU to all the chefs and to the TLP Board and Event Chair Dana McCoy for organizing the event. You’ll see the board’s work again this summer as we host the largest fundraiser that TLP has, The Annual GALA on August 4 on the TLP campus. This is an event you won’t want to miss. We’re looking forward to the TLP Concert Series. To kick off our Mamma Mia! summer, we will host the ABBA tribute band, Dancing Queen on May 11. With painstaking attention to detail, Dancing Queen has recreated an ABBA experience you won’t soon forget. Also returning to TLP after a successful Reba and Friends is Brooke Byam and friends with this year’s Dolly and Friends. Brooke will take the stage May 17 – 19 with another great TLP concert. We’re glad to have Dueling Pianos back at TLP this spring. They will be here on Friday, May 24 to kick off Memorial Weekend. And for those of you who missed last fall’s Eagles Tribute – Heartache Tonight – they will be back on September 28. You won’t want to miss them. On September 7, The Four C Notes will visit TLP with their Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute. They are fronted by John Michael Coppola, best known for his appearance in Chicago’s long running production of the Broadway smash hit Jersey Boys.
And then, we kick off our 2019 Summer Series with Disney’s The Little Mermaid. It’s going to be a great 2019 and we’re only getting started. We will have some big announcements later this month about the future of TLP. Timber Lake Playhouse is truly the place to Come For the Show, Stay For the Experience!
