Over the past few days, information surrounding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) has been coming in nearly non-stop.  With our first event of the 2020 season only a week away, we had to make a decision on how to proceed.  On Saturday, we decided to postpone the Oh Boys! concert planned for next Friday, March 20, to a later date. Since we have been looking forward to opening the theatre earlier this season, it was difficult for many reasons and I understand the disappointment that this decision caused our patrons.  I also understand how we all must do our part in mitigating the spread of this disease and know that sacrifices have to be made.  My hope is, that as we all “self quarantine”, we can curb the spread of the virus and get past this crisis as soon as possible.  We all look forward to opening the theatre later this spring.

Over the next few weeks, our office staff will be working from home.  They will be taking phone calls and answering emails, but you may not find anyone at the office if you stop in and you may have to leave a phone message to be returned. We will do our best to stay in contact with you and continue to continue to provide great service even in this time of uncertainty.

If you have tickets purchased for the March 20 concert, those tickets and seat assignments will automatically transfer to the new date once we’ve determined what will work with The Oh Boys! and TLP.  If you cannot make the rescheduled date, you have two options.  You can use your ticket price for any other TLP production or you can have the ticket price refunded.  Once we’ve firmed up the date, we’ll let you know.  Right now, you don’t have to do anything.  We’ll follow this same procedure for any of our events that get cancelled, so don’t worry about your tickets.

We will monitor the situation and our decisions will be made day to day.  Watch for news regarding our April concert, Rosie and the Rivets and other events at Timber Lake Playhouse, Your Theatre in the Woods.  We are continuing to make plans for the spring, summer and into the fall and winter.  I trust that this will pass and we will soon return to “normal” with a renewed sense of joy for the important things in life.  Take care and stay safe.
